Interview Summary

Williams describes her town now, stating that she was one of the lucky ones who didn't receive water in her house. She also says that about seventy-five percent of her town still needs to be rebuilt. Williams discusses plans for Keansburg after Hurricane Sandy. She also tells about people misjudging the storm because of a comparison with Hurricane Irene. Williams talks about how much quicker the tourist areas of the Jersey shore were rebuilt than towns like Keansburg. She also does not believe the promises of the president were made true. Williams discusses how people should have listened to the warnings. She also talks about what she believes to be a better way to alert people when there is another natural disaster on the way.
