Interview Summary
Ryan Donahue is a Navy veteran that served in Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). He grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and joined the Navy a few years after graduating high school. In this interview, Donahue talks about his job as an Aviation Machinist Mate and some of the stresses and dangers that it entails. He talks about numerous training exercises and his travels through the Straits of Magellan and the Suez Canal. Donahue also describes his carrier's role in Operation Endring Freedom (OEF) and his experiences as well. In addition, he also talks about his transition home and his pursuit of higher education at Eastern Kentucky University.Interview Accession
