Interview Summary
In this first of a two-part interview, Sylvia Lovely, longtime CEO of the Kentucky League of Cities (KLC), discusses her life leading up to her tenure with the KLC. She describes her formative years in Dayton, Ohio, including her decision to go to college and how it affected her family. Lovely also explains her academic path, beginning as a music major before deciding on sociology and proceeding to attend law school.
