Interview Summary
Judge Goodwine discusses her life and career and the challenges she faced in achieving her dream of becoming a judge. She was born June 13, 1960 in Youngstown Ohio. She was inspired at a young age by Justice Thurgood Marshall and worked diligently through setbacks caused by Krohn?s disease. She attended the University of Kentucky and graduated from the Gatton College of Business in May 1991. She entered the University of Kentucky Law School in 1991 at the age of 31. After law school she practiced with Wyatt Tarrant and Combs and soon came under the wing of Ned Breathitt as she continued working towards her goal to become a judge.Interview Accession
