Interview Summary
In this interview, longtime high school educator, Marvin Jolly, recalls the first time he heard of the Kentucky's community college system. He remembers his twenty-two years as head of the college and the difficulties he had adjusting to the University of Kentucky's governance of his school. Jolly also reflects on the role the university's board of trustees played in the community college system overall and the differences between community colleges, junior colleges and technical schools.Interview Accession
