Interview Summary

Lewis Colten enrolled at the University of Kentucky in the fall of 1969 and graduated with a degree in Architecture in 1973. While a student, Mr. Colten, a former Freedom Rider, was the head of the Students for a Democratic Society. In this interview he discusses the beginning of the Vietnam War, the 1968 Chicago demonstrations and police riot, and the Chicago Seven.
