Interview Summary
Dorothy "Dot" Ridings was an original member of the Prichard Committee, and was the chair of the committee immediately following Ed Prichard's death. She is also past president of the National league of Women Voters. She talks about her own education activism, both with the Prichard Committee and the League; she discusses in detail the connections between the League and the Prichard Committee. She discusses her work as chair; reflects on Bob Sexton's work and Ed Prichard's work. She also discusses her role in Louisville's school desegregation in 1975-76 through the League.Interview Accession
