Interview Summary
Katie Todd served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Benin from June 2019 to March 2020 when she was evacuated due to COVID-19. She served as an Agricultural and Economic Development Sustainability Specialist and was the first volunteer to serve in her community. Highlights of her service include: helping to improve productivity of the gardens planted by a women’s garden cooperative and to develop the women’s business skills to market their products, starting a village savings and loan that is still going, and working with a high school teacher to build English skills of youth and to launch a youth agribusiness club.Interview Accession
