Interview Summary
Martha Bazzell is a long-time resident of Scottsville, who was brought to the region when her husband Jim Bazzell accepted a basketball coaching position. Bazzell shares memories of early encounters with Dr. Francis and Mariola Halcomb, and reflects on Dr. Halcomb's love of basketball. She goes on to talk about her friendship with Mariola, and her personal experiences with the Halcomb house and family.Interview Accession
