Interview Summary

J.T. Hulan, an architect and veteran, shares his experiences working in a number of careers, from reconnaissance in the U.S. Air Force to designing buildings. Hulan additionally shares his journey into realizing and expressing his identity as a gay man, including talking about what it was like to come out as gay during the 1970's. Hulan also discusses his passion for cars, his experience of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the 1980's, and his hopes for the future.
