Interview Summary

Violet Esipila describes her original Peace Corps experience, from her and her family's reaction to her joining, through training and her 2 years at a small village in Ukraine. After returning home, she returned to Ukraine as a response volunteer and was evacuated because of COVID-19 in March 2020. She also talks about Peace Corps' importance in teaching other countries about the diversity of the American people.
