Interview Summary
This is an interview with audio and sound engineer Brooks Arthur. Arthur discusses his preferred methods of recording and the different recording studios and artists he worked with during his career. Arthur discusses his own recording studio, Studio 914, and the equipment and recording methods he used there. Arthur discusses his work in Los Angeles with Art Garfunkel and Richard Perry, among other notable artists and producers. Arthur describes his work with artists like Robin Williams, and the work and techniques he used outside of music recording. Arthur describes the methods and climate that surrounded the recording of Janis Joplin's "Stay With Me Baby."Interview Accession
