Interview Summary
Jean Sabharwal talks about growing up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, living in Bloomington, Indiana, and then moving to Lexington, Kentucky in 1966, where she has lived since. When she first arrived in Lexington, her and her Indian-born husband were denied service at restaurants. Sabharwal's lifelong interest in international affairs has aided her work with the League of Women Voters.Interview Accession
