Interview Summary
Joe Maguire graduated from Good Shepherd High School in Frankfort, KY in 1965 and enrolled at the University of Kentucky in the fall. He graduated with a degree in History in 1981.Joe was a member of the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and ran unsuccessfully for vice president of Student Government on the Students for Action and Responsibility (SARs) ticket in 1969. In this interview he discusses the 2021 Georgia U.S. Senate election and the insurrection on January 6, 2021.Interview Accession
