Interview Summary

Storm van Weelden talks about being depressed due to a health problem and deciding to make a black quilt. She talks about how this quilt, along with successful surgery, bought her joy. Storm van Weelden talks about owing to America everything that she knows about quilting. She references her background as a textile teacher and her desire to know more about quilting as well as organizations and individuals in the United States that taught her many techniques. Storm van Weelden talks about quilting in Holland and about her textile education. She mentions the importance in quilting of friends and sharing of knowledge.
