Interview Summary

Javier Ramos served in Ecuador from 1991-1993 in the city of Santa Isabel in the province of Azuay as part of the Rural Infrastructure program leaning on his civil engineering experience to improve public works. Training brought home the importance of both cultures during service complimenting each other. Ramos' must impacting project involved bringing clean water to the mountain community of Nasari. Ramos lives with his Ecuadorian wife and 3 daughters in Puerto Rico.
