Interview Summary
This interview is with Reverend Dr. Marion. O. Ballard. Born in 1904 on Deal Island off the eastern shore of Maryland, Rev. Dr. Ballard came to Philadelphia in 1923 to secure education enough to enter the ministry. He went on to become minister of Tindley Temple, named after Rev. Charles Albert Tindley, and today on the National Register of Historic Places.Interview Accession
