Interview Summary

Ray Waits served as a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Navy's HAL-3 Helicopter Attack Squadron, the "Seawolves" during the Vietnam War. Waits' 12-month tour of duty in Vietnam began in December of 1969. This interview discusses the 2020 pandemic and joining the Kentucky Army National Guard as a helicopter pilot.
