Interview Summary

Kara Ayers, PhD, is a wheelchair and service dog user with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) who is from Frankfort, KY, but now lives in Cincinnati, where she is the Associate Director of the University of Cincinnati’s University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities. She also runs Mind Ramps Media, an organization that consults on accessibility, particularly online. In this interview, she discusses her disability work and her perspectives on disability community and needs in Kentucky and globally.
