Interview Summary
Becker discusses her ventures in quilting, going into her most and least favorite aspects of the craft, her ongoing projects, familial support, as well as what makes a great quilt and quilter. She talks about quilting's role in history and the importance of preserving the quilts in museums and in homes. Becker discusses her time spent teaching at the Great Expectations quilting shop in Houston, Texas, and briefly touches on the evolution of the International Quilt Festival.Interview Accession
