Interview Summary

Amy Faust Mayer was born and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. She grew up in an Orthodox synagogue, but as time went on her parents adopted more Reform practices. She attended Miami University in Ohio and got her degree in theater and was pre-law. She now works as an elementary teacher and as the director for Camp Shalom. She met her husband, Mike Mayer, online and moved to Lexington. They have two children and the family is active in the Lexington Jewish community.
