Interview Summary
Dustin Klinefelter is an Iraq War veteran who served in the Army. Klinefelter talks about his experience being deployed in Iraq, what their lives were like, and what obstacles they faced, such as improvised explosive devices (IEDs). He describes basic training, his deployment being extended, seeing Saddam Hussein after he was captured, the tanks he drove while deployed, and what the soldiers did for relaxation or entertainment. Klinefelter explains some of the different military tactics that were used by both sides, such as ambushing and set-ups.Interview Accession
