Summary: 

Marshall Webb served in the 339th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion, Company E. He describes breaking through the Gustav and Gothic defensive lines, and reads a poem he wrote about the Battle of Tremensuoli. He also recalls marching through Rome, interacting with the Italians, and seeing the body of Benito Mussolini. Finally, he describes an abandoned concentration camp (Dachau) at the end of the war.
