Description:

St. John's Episcopal Church, located in Versailles, Kentucky, was originally founded in 1847. In an effort to document the informal history of the church, St. John's conducted an interview-based project called "Generational Audio-Video Project". In the interviews, young members of the congregation ask long time members to talk about St. John's history, the community, programs for children, the choir, and various church leaders. Interviewees also tell personal stories and discuss the changes they have witnessed in the church over the years, particularly in terms of authority and gender roles.
