The purpose of this project is to interview twenty former and present members of the Kentucky Junior Chamber of Commerce (known as the Kentucky Jaycees) about their involvement with the organization. The legacy of the Kentucky Jaycees has long been one of excellence and of putting dreams into action. Contributions of the organization primarily fall into three areas: 1) the development of leaders for business, industry and government; 2) the impact of the organization, through its state and local projects, upon the state and its communities, and 3) its impact upon the national and international Jaycees organization through leadership provided those groups by leaders developed and promoted by the Kentucky Junior Chamber of Commerce.
